Default BOV vs DV

Hey guys/gals,

I just bought a BMC CAI. This made my DV (TurboXS) loud as hell. Hence if you are looking for the sound Id go this route, it is loud and wont affect drivability. If you are trying to avoid the sound, you may want to consider another combo...although I highly recommend it due to the performance gain. Plus the parts are both of the highest quality, granted they were expensive, but you get what you pay for.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did the BMC CAI and the TurboXS DV run you altogether? And how different did the car perform?

CAI - cold air intake, but they call it a CDA...whatever

The BMC cost me 325'ish, and the turboxs was 110, but I bought that used.

The turboxs is roughly 135.

The car felt much better at high rpm. It tended to feel like it fell off and as if the turbo was starved at high rpm, now it feels like it pulls right to redline. With the sps3 it felt much much better.
