That's all the DV kit does? Moves it couple inches away?

takes it from jsut off the turbo - bad location
to next to the tb - good location

the temps are lower on the dv and the biggest reason is it allows the turbo to spool faster between shifts with it located there

Why is that? It couldnt be too much of a temp difference could it?

Neur0tic, you happen to have a pic of your engine w/ the new hoses? I was thinking about doing the silver also, and was curious how it looked vs. the red above....

Pre vs post intercooler, i would say thats a VERY big difference in temps.... maybe 80-100*C

I haven't received them yet. I'd been looking for a week or so and just bought it all a few days ago. I'll have pictures during and after install once it's here.

Ah, nice. I knew you'd been talking about it a few weeks back, wasn't sure how it was coming along or if shipping was screwing ya over.

Thats the recirculated point back to the intake. The dv was drawing the air from the charge pipe just off the turbo and now itsmoved to the pressure side post ic. Now the recirculated air gets past the valve faster and goes back to the intake.

I was reading on the website that oil and fuel do bad things to silicone. How do you get around the oilresidue that goes through vacuum lines on a regular basis?
