braided vacuum hose size?

RE: braided vacuum hose size?
I really don't think it's that ghetto. Since they're plastic, they're less likely to dig into the hose.
Since they're normally tightened by hand, less likely to overtighten and damage anything.
You can turn them around with the buckle facing away and it gives the hose an almost "seemless" connection without bulky clamps.
Zipties > clamps (low pressure solutions)

So I ordered a bunch of silver silicone hose today. Next time I get a couple of days off in a row is when the big maintenance is going to get done (timing belt, water pump, intake manifold gasket, replacement of vacuum hoses).

Yeah, but my father just bitches about me working on it. He is always worried something will go wrong. The only major thing is when he stripped the bolt for the rotor when i was doing my brakes. So now he is only an extra pair of hands.
