I had this happen the other day, just the passenger side. I turned the light switch on and off and it cured the problem.

the break peddle switch has to be replaced ( unless it came out of its holder ) its a push and twist type switch so it cant be set or adjusted, if the break lights are on all the time chances are its came out or the switch is bad

So I have to take off the dashboard underneath and look for it connected to my brake pedal? Do you have any actual pictures as opposed to the "Blown up" picture of the whole brake pedal? I hate those pictures, i can never understand them. I just took out the fuse to turn them off and put it back in and they didnt come on so maybe i'll do that until i can figure it out.

I'd try cleaning before I went to replacing. If the lights are staying on, its probaby that the plunger is stuck in. Might be as simple as popping it back out, and cleaning the junk out of it. You gotta notice how dirty it gets down there, you track dirt in every time you get it.
