Does anyone have a problem with there brakes pads shifting in the rotors which makes a popping noise. Also i have hada awful brake squeal not the normal noise but it lower pitched and its loud. I have had the rotors replaced and i have had the turned the dealership says that audi normally make that noise and it will eventually go away. I have had this car since last october and it made the god awful since i bought it. Any suggestion on fixing the problem.[:@]

I used to have genuine audi pads brand new and my rotors were pretty crappy, I changed them to Hawk pads in the front, same problem - very very bad squealing. Yesterday i finally did my rotors (pep-boys specials) Yu can't be hard on them right after you put them on,come to a stop very gently, let them set in, you'll be ok.

Spray the back of the padswith some brake quite. I had some poping in mine, but that was because my rotor wasnt fully fastened (stupid rotor screws, some know what i mean!). Fixed both on sat.now i just have some minor squeel from the high temp wilwood pads at low speeds on cold rotors from time to time.

it is suppost to go on the back of the pads. If your spraying the rotors, your gonna have some problems.

**so you have blue rotors now?

They might be redish/orange depending on which brake quiet he used! [sm=lol.gif]
