Can anyone tell me what the little bump on the trunk is for?

 

What bump ? Coupe or convertible TT? Where is the bump ?

Thanks! If you order the TT without GPS, is it gone? Kind of sucks they can't run it through the whip antenna for a cleaner look. I don't remember seeing that little bump on 08-10 TTs.

 

I thought that was the phone prep antenna......the 06-09 has a center phone connection that uses a cradle ( In my 08 TTr it is located behind the handbrake) and when plugged into the cradle the reception is boosted and it uses this antenna(bump) . That's how I understood it...but I'm sure the Gps also uses this.
