OK, so i went playing in the snow and slid into a curb doing 5 mph, now my front right tie area thumps like a flat after 50 mph, and it gets prety bad when i let off the gas. lifted the car up when i got home and inspected everything finding my tire is leaking air. question being....if i fix this tire problem will the bump go away? i pray it will, and i hope it isnt due to a bent rim....but i hit the curb sideways so i dont think its bent...just the tire. and the front right now sweaks, any ideas?

could be anything... but more than likely you bent something.. or if you got really lucky you might have just hit had enough to knock the weight off of the rim so its not balanced anymore.. try and get it balanced and see if it helps

 

at 5 mph something bends? i hope not. but yeah, im going to put on the spare and see if the bump goes away. if not, i pray its just the rim.

 

You'ds be suprised how much damage can happen at 5 mph.


But like Red said, try to get the tire balanced first. Or do what you said, put the spare on and see what happens,

Double tap the bastich and then all should be good.

 

GLORY!!! tires plus just rebalanced the rim, and all is well...25 dollars later, she's perfect thus again.
