check autotrader.com andcars.com and your local newspaper. These are rare cars and hard to find. Mine took 3 months to find.

 

well i just found one on autotrade.com its a private seller who has it. He wants 9,995 its a 2000 Audi TT 1.8T with 105,000 miles, But he is 100 miles away from me so i dont know

 

Don't be a bitch... Mine was at a dealer 270 miles away.

I went there twice... once to test drive and do paperwork, and then againthe next week to pick up the car.

1080 Miles... That's 10x what you're worried about.

I found quite a few in PA/NY/NJ when I was looking, but none that were exactlywhat I wanted. It was worth the drive, and gave me time to make sure it was what I wanted to do, and to drive the car and get used to it on the way home.

 

Remember your going to need to stick some serious money into maintance and tax.

i live in wash, dc and plan on driving up to perkasie, pa tomorrow to trade in my 2001 blue on blue beauty for a newer model. came across your post and thought you may be interested in checking her out since i will be in your neck of the woods!! ive never been on audi forums so its kind of random, but i may have something you are looking for. and for quite a bit less than you are looking to spend. i will give you the run down, just let me know if she sparks your interest.

-brand new $1300 F1 all season high performance tires
-3 days driving on $2500 for new water pump, hoses, gaskets, thermometers, sensors, etc
-91,000 miles
-once a week detail, i care for her better than myself
-immaculate interior and flawless paint
-crack in front bumper, $300 for part $300 to paint and install. its barely noticable and ive been more concerned with putting my $$ into her performance.
-she needs a new clutch, still has original. when i had her in for $2500 repairs above the other day, my independant quoted me $600 for new clutch. i was clear out of cash or else i would have done it in a minute.

i know the dealership wont give me anywhere close to what she is worth, but i dont have the time to find the special person who understands what it is like to own a tt.
