So when i turn on my A/C everything starts clanking... so im thinking the a/c is shot... possibly the a/c motor, would this be a dealer or DIY thing?

 

because of the gases used I would take it to a garage and not necessarily the dealers because they will take your eyeballs out and come back for the sockets, most garages can do it if they have the AC equipment to drain and refill
