Sorry to thread jack but.... TTsteve how do you like the new s-tronic trans? If you have any experience with the tiptronic how do they compare?

 

I love it, it took a very small amount of time to not miss the shifting, but these things shift so fast that you dont lose any momentum. I have raced a GTO a couple of times here and I always gain on him when he shifts. He usually beats me by 3/4 car length by the time we get to 80-90 mph but it would be even greater if I had to shift myself. Just wish I had the money for a TTS, a chipped TTS will do 0 60 in about 4.8 or less.

 

Nice I wish my car shifted faster, it would be nice haha

What I tought was strange, but not knowing for sure, was the 135i does 0 60 in 4.7 but I thought they said 1/4 mile in 13.3 secs at only 105 mph. Not really sure as I have never tracked a car but isnt that kinda a slow 1/4 mile for a 4.7 0 60 twin turbo?

 

no 105 is ok but most test say 13.1 and 112 mph
