Can someone identify this hose?

Default Can someone identify this hose?

Mine needs to be replaced. Discovered the leak when I did my SAI pump fix. Leaking this end and the other...looks like a rat chewed it.

Those hoses are to your oil cooler. Don't quote me, but I think that's the inlet side.

Part 8N0 121 088 - $90 water hose. Anybody know a reliable way to patch these up? I don't feel like putting $20 of Pentosin in it every month.

yeah, if its the hose, go to the autoparts store, and pick up a piece of hose for $.40 a foot, and replace it.

If its the actual sandwich plate, you can either replace it, replace it with a bigger sandwich plate, or upgrade to a real oil cooler.

you are probably going to have to take a flathead to it and peel it off. If you are completely replacing it, just cut and razor blade it if you get despirate
