I just pulled out my bill of sales (time to do my taxes), and I found it interesting to see that the dealer marked the weight of my car at 2778 lbs.

I've seen a figure that the 180 FWD coupe is 2600lbs. Dunno if that's accurate.

It seems weird to me that quattro only adds 220lbs? Adding a whole rear axle, driveshaft and haldex coupling only adds 220lbs?

hmm... Im pretty sure the 180 has a rear axle as well, so I'd imagine it would just be a difference in axle weight.

You might want to think about lightweight wheels for when you want to race or get some better 1/4 times. I wouldnt use these as every day wheels cuz they are easy to mess up but you might be able to drop 40 lbs or so by getting them. Might cost some though.
