cd prewire
Hi folks, New here. Just got my first TT. 2000 180 FWD, 26,000 miles. Quite cherry.
Are all TTs' prewired for a cd changer? Is it that wire in the cubby on the left under the hatch that looks like cable tv wire?

Yes, that connector is for the CD changer. Just pick up a 6 CD changer or better yet a Phatnoise box. There are several options out there for an iPod interface as well.

This DICE is a little more popular unit. I like it so i can install both my ipod and it has another imput so i can install my sirius also.
If you just want a simple ipod connection, this one does the same thing and is $80
