Default Chains on a TT?

Has anyone ever put chains on their TT? Is it even possible? I have the stock fat 5s. I'll likely be going over the pass a bit this winter, but I don't know if the conditions will be bad enough often enough to warrant getting snow tires. Should I just break down and get a set of snow tires?

Im assuming you have summers and not all seasons...

If it snows where you are snow tires would be a good idea. I wouldnt recommend chains but thats just me

don't put chains on unless you must. the sway bar links could get damaged by the chains. a good set of snows is worth the money,

Actually they are now called winter tires, as they are designed for cold weather below 7 celcius or about 39 farenheitnot just for snow. I am in southern Ontario and have a set of 4 on mine. The car is geat in the snow with proper tires. I use summer tread from April until the end of October.
