Default Changing the Battery

Some of you may have seen my other post

Well Im going to try the battery first. I bought a new one and got ready to take out the old one but I have some questions

After I remove the plastic covering I see a "hinged platform" with a electrical box with wires going into it. Should that be removed and if so, how?

Second I tried wiggling the battery but it wont budge at all, is it clamped or screwed in? And if so how do I unclamp it or where is it screwed in?

Thanks!
BTW its a 2002 coupe

I feel like I answered a post almost exactly like this not long ago....

but yeah, battery is clamped, for everyones safety, so, don't forget to clamp the new one. Clamp is at the base of teh battery, on the front side. Really can't tell you much about the procedure to remove all the plastic junk, because half of it wasn't on my car when i got it, and I didn't care to replace any of it since I relocated my battery, and I just grabbed it and tore it all out.

Thanks I did a search but it said "In the process of updating" so I dont know if the search function is working and Im in the middle of the job When you say "plastic junk" the stuff Im taking about has 4 or 5 wires going into it so if anyone knows how to remove and replace it that would be great!

How is the clam removed?
Thanks again

I think I remember......when you take the cover off and you see the electrical box you can fold it upward the battery sits below it. the clamp is kinda a pain in the @$$ to remove or maybe its because i have paws for hands, but it can be done.
