2004 Audi tt 3.2 w/ 42k. Past month the "check engine" light will come on and stay on for a few days, then it goes off(it's not blinking). My local dealer has been unable to solve the problem. Any thoughts?

 

I know I can't help with that but the other guys/gals on this chain can.

Of course the first thing they will ask for is what code its throwing. Post that then they'll help.

 

Can't make any kind of a guess without the code that is coming up. Go to Auto Zone and get them read and post. You will get much better feedback. It could be a million things. Probably something to do with the emissions.

 

did the dealship not give you the code? probably didn't ask, eh?
