Default chip question?

I was just talking to a local Tuneing Shop and learned that they have a dyno and burn their own chips. I was told that they can get 15% over a pre-programed Hi-Po type chip. What do you guys think?

Risky at best. I'd go with a known quantity like APR, Revo or GIAC. They may tune their own chips but are they going to warranty your entire engine if it blows because of their homebrew programming?
