Default Chipped FWD 0-60

Hi everybody,

I was wondering if anybody know what the 0-60 speed for a chipped (APR/GIAC/Revo/etc) Audi TT FWD 180hp with no other mods minus the spark plugs will be. I tried searching on Google, but all my results came out for heavily modded TTs.

Thanks.

prob not gonna get any very accurate results because of all the different mods and driver ability, but definitely buy a chip if you cant decide yet. They are well worth the money and its instant hp and stock reliability.

Yea I'm definitely planning on it.

I was just wondering what the general ballparks 0-60 numbers would be since the all the chips provide similar increases.

A hair over 6 seconds for mine. That's with no launch and using 3rd gear (from the vid, looks like that wasted a lot of time, I should have just redlined second). I'm thinking I could get under 6.

Also, I have 6-speed gearing.

10 - 11 seconds

I think I could get it down to 8 or 9 if I could get rid of the wheel hop and understeer.

Im confused how understeer effects your 0-60 time? Are you going in circles while getting up to 60?

Yeah I figured it was something like that. You should do it in reverse then you might get some oversteer.
