Default chips

I'm new to this site so bare with me....................One of my cars is a 2000 TT 180hp quattro. My friend recommended me to this site for info, reviews and other questions. Can anyone tell me about the difference between the APR and Neuspeed chips for this car. Any aficianados have any recommendations for which to get, what the hp gain of either is, any possible trouble or side affects of chipping this car, or any other useful info on this car or about these chips. Thanks......................

Default RE: chips

Ive got an APR chip in my car. Had it since February and i'm lovin it. very smooth when driving normal, but has that extra kick when you need the power. I know nothing about neuspeed, my impression was that neuspeed makes honda things, but its just me. GIAC is also good, from what I hear. Its more agressive than the APR, so if youre going to race the car, go with the GIAC, if its just daily driving APR is the way to go
