Default clicking TT

Hi... new here.
I have an '03 TT coupe 225 hp 6 speed with APR software upgrade for over a year. All around pretty good car as a daily driver. Bought certified used, now has >40K miles.

I have developed a "clicking" noise. Was there for a week or 2, then gone about a month, now back. Seems to eminate from the central dash, aggrivated by using the blinkers. I've turned off and on all the power things, to no avail. only thing that makes it worse for maybe 10 seconds is the blinkers. Seemingly no electrical glitches, just annoying.
I have a Ferrari 308, and when the panel that covers the fusebox / relays is off (falls off all the time), the clicking sound that the relay makes when the blinker is on is almost the same "clicking sound"... I can't imagine the relays are in the central dash?!?!?!

any thoughts?
thanks!

there is a relay for the hazard buttons that I believe is prone to failure. A search for hazard or hazard relay might help. The only clocking i have is from **** hanging off the keys or the injectors. gl

its definitely the hazard relay switch. i have the same problem. the clicking noise is the same noise that occurs when the blinker signal is on. it goes on and off randomly all the time. thats one of those problems which is too minor for me to bother to fix.
some people have had it actually affect the way the blinkers work too, but mine is only the noise and doesnt affect blinker operation.
pull the radio, push the hazard switch inward, and replace the relay. i think theres a couple of DIY links floating around here somewhere that will help you.

The car was in for its 40K 2 days ago (bend over, please...)
They say it was the hazard relay switch... it thankfully was covered under the extended warranty. I have not picked it up yet (out of town).
I was worried, I had searched the forum, and others with earlier (00,01) models (non TT) were talking about some valve issue to which there is no fix.
hopefully all is well (I'll get it on Tuesday)
