Default cluster - temp warning? - huh?

I was driving back to the office today, and my cluster had a thing that looked like a music note pop up on the center console. - it had waves going through it. - Temp? - Thing is ...it did it for about 3 blocks...I opened my door and shut it... wondering if it was that...it went away and the beeping stopped.

What could this have been? - Just another TT alien? - Or could I be replacing a sensor?

Low on coolent. Sometimes it reads below the min line and then will go away. Check the fluid level, you may just need to top off the level with distilled water.

Our weather here has been going up and down (I live in the mid-west) - I'm assuming due to the nature of the beast (90F) - mid day - and (60F) - In the morning will throw some things off.

Yeah like cincy said just check the coolant overflow tank and make sure she's up to par.
That happened to me one bitter cold winter morning. As she heated up, and the fluid expanded everything was fine.
