Default Clutch replacement cost
I am in need of a new clutch on my 01 tt quattro and was quoted 1700 dollars just in labor for the replacement. This is from a non audi repair shop. Does that seem high or about right?

Yeah, WAY too much! The shop that quoted that is about $1000 higher than it should be. For what they quoted, they should throw in a nice performance clutch and a hand-job.

i just replaced mine about 2 months ago.. bought the clutch from esctuning for about $350 and paid a local mechanic $300 to install it
