Turbo Inlet Pipe.
It connects the MAF to the turbo

I think I have the same problem with my TT. I experience it when I accerate even on the highway. I "punch" it and the car will accerate then just rev. The problem goes away if I drop a gear then punch it.

600-800+ for a clutch install. At least that is in the Oklahoma area.

I had the same problem, your clutch is going out. - Its appearing that this is a VERY common problem with tt's.

However the stage 1 clutch and light weight flywheel are fantastic! - I have it installed on my 2000FWD TT. -
The clutch goes in easier and has better response time. - It holds HARD. - I auto cross my car every once and awhile...and it held up to the beating I gave it.

Mine with the cost for the parts and labor was about $750 - Mind you I got a good deal out in the middle of knowwhere for the install.

Just gotta find the right mechanic.
