Default Coilpack plug thingy

The part that plugs into the coilpack on a 225 TT.
My question, I was changing the plugs on my wifes TT I was poping off the connector that plugs into the coilpacks on plug 3 when the housing around the plug, not on the coul pack, broke, as I tryed to save the rest the bottom plastic broke off. I pluged it back in and finished the plug change. I didnt tape it in or anything as the heat will unstick it. should it bo ok or do you think I need to replace it.. I really dont want to as it looks like a mojor PITA! I have broke the little locking clips off on 2 of my jettas plugs with no problems. but I have better access to view if there coming off.. She doesnt. What would you do.

Default RE: Coilpack plug thingy

I wouldn't worry about it too much, as long as its making good contact and isn't causing a miss fire its good. You can buy the single connector at the dealer but you need the pin out tool, pull the wires out and re-connect them to the new connector, its not fun but its doable.
