Damn, I was afraid of that. No, I bought it from a private seller. How much does it usually go for, you know?

When mine went bad, my speedo was also off by 10mph, and my fuel gauge was off by about 1/8 of a tank, and my temp gauge would spike to hot as soon as the key was turned (even with the car off, and cold).

So yeah, you probably want to fix it, or find yourself pulled over by a cop, out of gas, with an overheating car..... ; )

But if you replace with used cluster, you're milage will be inaccurate, and you'll need to deal with teh stupid DMV and have that dumb correction sticker on your door.

You have up to the 50mi mark on the odo with a new cluster to set the milage, after 50 miles, its locked at whatever its at. The cluster you use also depends on your VIN, there are slight differences, and you may have more problems if you don't get the one that matches.
