Question Coolant Leak ?

I have a 2001 225 hp TT. Anyone here ever have a coolant leak from the intercooler. I have a steady drip and am not quite sure where it's from yet. Are these prone to leak or is there some fitting or hose related to the intercooler that could be a problem. I've started digging into it but really don't want to yank the intercooler if there might be a common leak with these cars. If it is the the intercooler can they be welded to fix a leak if that is the problem. I am trying to avoid spending for a new one.

i think you mean the radiator? the intercoolers are side mounted on our cars from the factory.
anyway one way of finding a leak is to park the car over cardboard. the leak might not be from the place it is dripping from but that could help you track it down or up rather.

So let me get this right, These intercoolers are air to air, no coolant running through them?
