alum is very strong. steel is used becuase it can be easily welded, and alum. is a pain.

i know...i;m just saying. i'm informing those so they dont get a false idea on what this really does for the car...i have been considering one of these for a long time..mainly for looks but also to help that back end a little if i were to get into an accident. Alum has good absorbing effects but not the strength that steel has. thus the difference between a roll bar and a absorber if you will

Honestly, i think if you got hit on the side, the differnce would be minimum. Thats with steal, alum, or CF.

2 things are those shower rods lol
and I'd buy a roll bar =)
Someone at W13 did that & I told him to put shower curtins in his windows so when a cop pulls him over he could tell him to get out of his bathroom. It was just for the look but still cracked me up.
