damn you axles!
i left CV boots torn for a good... 3~4 months (lol). and the clicking from the axles/cv jointshas gotten pretty bad.
noticed that upon heavy acceleration that i hear some clicking too (usually in 2nd gear... motor mounts?)
soo... i was wondering if anyone had any instances in where do they had to replace any of their axles? price? labor? etc. etc.

You won't have to replace that axle man, ive seen dumb *** people come into the shop thats had blown cv boots for over a year, we just grease em back up and slap on another boot, no noise.
Plus those axles run over $900 at the dealer from what i last checked.

^ ya i recently replaced the boots and grease, but the joints are still bugging me out with the clicking. fortunately i contacted my friend who is an audi tech, and quoted me $200 for both axles
