ok, so my dark tails and hose techniques order came in today, swapped in the tails real quick. I think it looks good, though it would look better were my valence clean, and is really begging for a telson, if only they werent like 300 :-P

I'm interested in doing this. Is this a kit? How did you do it?

 

These were professionally done, same guy as did tturbonegros, basically alot of sanding and painting and clear coat. I bought them as a second set of tails.

If you want a glossy finish wetsand and clearcoat. If you dont care, then just spray on coat by coat until you get the shade you want.

Heheh, sometimes she likes it... no... NEEDS it rough.

I ended up buying gear oil (think Im low) and a clay bar, and skipped fixing my tail light. Again.. rough theme... just a slap on the *** and the tail light works for a while. I'm not too concerned anyway, I have 3 other working bulbs still..

 

like the tails... look good, i may get new ones at some point but for now i have lamin-x tails
