Angry Dealership Warning!!!

Hey guys i know im probably speaking to a limited audience but if it helps one person its worth it. There is a small used car dealership in Sapulpa Oklahoma called Scotts auto wholesale that has a blue TT on its lot. I went in to ask about it about three months ago and the owner was (and this is putting it very lightly) very very rude. I've since found out through an Audi dealership and CARFAX that he neglected to tell potential customers that the TT has a rebuilt title, broken ESP and several other issues, even though it was being offered at 16% above blue book value. I believe the owner is trying to take advantage of uninformed customers. Thankfully he hasn't sold it yet but the fact that its price keeps going down might tempt people into buying it. I'm really sorry to rant like this but it really pisses me off when i see stuff like this happening.

I bought my first TT from a guy like that. He'd buy auction cars and then turn them around with as little work as possible. My car had a bad haldex controller, non working cd changer, and a bad cluster, which he masked by gluing a small piece of plastic to the back of the temp needle, otherwise, it would have spiked to hot as soon as you put power to the car.

Should have stuck it to him as much as I could, but i settled for a new cluster, and after swiping the old cluster (decent core charge on those things), I bid him good day.

LOL, I bought mine from "prestige Audi & Lambo". Such pretentious douches. The salesmans last name was(literaly)"bastard". This idiot drilled holes int front bumper to put their license plate frame on(PISSED!). And a stick on badge on the back bumper. They even sold the car as a "certified preowned". Which is supposed to mean that it was purchased, reconditioned, pass dealer inspection, etc. That's why I have an 04 that is still under warranty. They sold me the car with 4 bald tires and claimed it was perfect. Dealerships SUCK! With 1 exception that I know of. Champion Porsche/Audi in pompano( I think it's pampano?)are awesome. They have replaced almost my entrie front end under warranty. I'm pretty sure they don't care that my car is chipped. Those guys are actualy the largest Audi dealership in the world(they claim).

Carmax. Go to Carmax. They have alot of cars, generally like 4 or 5 of any model. You can even test drive several cars in the same day. Their prices are fair, their warranties are resonably priced and their cars are only sold in excellent condition. They are really the only used car dealer I recommend. Me, my sister, andboth my parents have purchased cars form them and have all been very happy. Also, if they don't have a particular model they will find it for you, transport up to 100 miles for you for free. You can then test drive it with no obligation. If you then buy the car and don't want anymore you can return it up to 7 days later with no questions charges.

i got the dealer sticker on the rear bumper too. That lasted as long as the drive home. Fortunately they didn't really clean the car that well before they stuck it on, so it came off really easily.

lol! I hate those stupid dealer stickers. My dad doesnt even like them! Every car he buys the day he gets it home he asks me to remove the stickers and the stupid license plate frames they put on. When i bought my 300zx i stopped them as they were putting it on. Im like 1) its a 1987 wtf do i need a dealer sticker for? 2) its getting repainted next week. they looked at me like i was crazy

hope that guy gets screwed because im pretty sure it is illegal to sell a "rebuilt" title car without letting the person buying it know.

I bought my car from Checkered Flag Porsche Audi in VA Beach. They failed to let me know about many small things that were wrong with the car (inside light cover broken, scratches all over the interior black plastic), and when i was unsure of whether i wanted to get it, got the manager to come over and start the "pressure".

I ended up buying it after going away and deliberating over it, and have no regrets, but still think it was handled pretty badly.

My car was a one owner that an old guy had and traded it it in a new srt8 challenger. So i bought mine from a 5 star dodge dealership that had it listed as a 5cylinder and they knew nothing about it. I would only buy a high end car from a dealer that sells them new or a used place that deals with high end stuff.

There are dealerships like your talking about all over theres one buy me that buys smashed ones before the insurance company can get a hold of them he fixes them and put them on the lot for retail.
