My manual bulb level functions still work fine. My cruise control still works normally. However I believe this mod eliminates bulb failure indications. I did have a bulb failure indication that I believe was due to a parking signal bulb being burned out before doing this and it was gone after this mod. I didn't change the bulb until a few days later. Never had a bulb fail indicated on the dash after the mod

 

well was the bulb that it was indicating indeed faulty? this would be nice because not only can i have brighter hids but i can switch to all led bulbs as well

 

I'm still having trouble to figure out steps 11 and 12
Do I have to buy the d2s connectors extensions?
Or do I strip the bulbs connectors to connect to the ballist?
Not sure how to power the bulb itself
