DIY turbo removal/install
not too hard...Basically you are just gonna do a straight swap correct? Unbolt the downpipe, take off the tubo inlet and turbo outlet hoses, the hose going to the wastegate, and depending whether you are putting new oil and coolant lines on or reusing your current ones will determine the next step. Either unbolt all four lines from the turbo or if you are replacing the lines just unbolt/unclip all four from the block/oil pan. After that the only thing holding the turbo on are the three bolts that go to the manifold...then swap and reverse the steps...there are threads about this on other forums for sure with pics. Good Luck
I checked vortex with not much luck, still need to give a more extensive search.
I also want to check my exhaust manifold for any cracks I was hearing exhaust leak for awhile, then I got in to fight with my car against a fence... the fence won :-)
I had a pole wedged in between the subframe and underbody I could tell that it hit the down pipe but I couldn't find anything.
Thanks for the input.
