Default Does this sound right to you?

1 drive belt - $51.10

1 timing belt - $84.86

1 belt tensioner - $121.22

1 water pump - $157.22

6 quarts antifreeze - $102.00

2 quarts steering fluid - $37.09

4 hose clamps - $10.00

I'm not complaining about prices.
I'm just really trying to figure out why he only needed one belt tensioner, and what the four hose clamps were for.

I just bought a whole water pump/timing belt kit on ebay for $220 shipped.

It gets installed next week.... labor is $200 ...so only $420 parts and labor...not to shabby if i say myself!

Plus I got a new starter (brand new) for $82.00 shipped from ebay...goes in this weekend!

shop around! ...save your money!

Why was I under the impression that there are two tensioners that hold the timing belt in place?

I dont see any stretch bolts on that list either, which should have been replaced.

6 quarts of antifreeze!!!

After replacing my timing belt and water pump, I topped off the system with and a gallon or so of distilled water.

Pretty sure it only took me one bottle of PS fluid, from the dealer, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't even a 1qt container.

Also, I'd like to have seen the eccentric pully replaced. If you're replacing everything else the timing belt is riding on, why not that?

I really wish you had just brought the car up, we could knock it out in an afternoon, it'd be cheap, and you'd be sure it was done 100%
