Default RE: Door Speaker Question???

Door panel has to come off. There is a foamy membrane over the rear of the panel that needs to be peeled back, as well as a plastic piece that is bolted on around the speaker, over the foam membrane. That comes off, membrane is peeled back, and THEN... the studs that the bolts were screwed in to for the plastic piece ALSO hold the speakers on, so those also need to be unscrewed. After this, unplug the harness from the speaker and remove.

Sounds like work, but really, door panel is easy to take off and speaker only takes around 10 minutes to get out. Mind you, this is with the Bose setup... not sure if it is exactly the same on non-Bose setups.
