The upper, smaller, door speaker next to the AC vent is going out in my car. I was wondering 1) does anyone know the size or type of speaker I need to get, it is just the base model sound system, and 2) how do I access it to replace it. It is a 2002 A4 avant.

 

to take it out open ur door and get a flathead or something u can wedge in the small gap wrap it in paper towel so u dont scratch ur trim and pull out. ITs a small tweeter not sure the size but once u get the grill out u can unplug and take it to a stereo shop to see the size.

 

If you dont get an original, buy 2 and swap both out for consistant sound..
