Hey guys,

Its been awhile since i've been in my TT (Due to the surgery) Today I had to go to the doctor, and I was very insistant that my girl friend drive my TT and let me be a passenger just because I missed the car so much. - That noted the remote had a hell of a time unlocking the door. - The inside lock button did not release the door, THEN even pulling the door latch didn't work. - 5 minutes later the doors unlocked (Again me pressing the buttons)

Is this a gremlin? - Or do you think this is something I need to worry about?

You know its one pull to unlock, one more pull to open the door from inside? Thats mechanical as far as I can tell, you should have been able to let yourself out regardless of electrical gremlins.

 

I know the 2 pull, thats all german cars. - It still wouldn't open.

Today I opened it like 10 times, no problems.


F.ucking gremlins.

 

I have identified one of my Gremlins- I call him "don't press the lock/unlock button on the remote while a door/trunk is open or I will blow the fuse", I had always wondered why my TT came with a case of blue fuses in the glovebox when I bought it!

 

That sounds like you may have a wire that's loose, or crossing with another one.

 

Yeah thats what I thought but I have learned to cope with it rather than try to pull the interior and trace everything.
