Hey thank you SO much! I've been searching for info on this without much success for a while. I read through the thread you posted and followed some links and this looks doable. I found the part on eBay as well.

My horn and my backup lights don't work either. Do you think those could be a relay or switch as well?

That's an even simpler problem. But I don't wanna hog the limelight. I'll let one of the other "gurus" answer it. Good luck on that door. Just remember.........go slow. And drive that car!!

​​​​​​Many thanks! Worked first time. I think I triggered it by driving off at the weekend with both doors AND the boot not closed properly! Had to stop 3 times...
