dumb oil question

Well my oil change place i trusted shut down so i'm stuck doing it now.
I dont have an owners manual, how many QT's does the TT take?

~4.5qt with the small filter, about 5qt if you run the a4/passat large filter.

I get the 5qt jugs from Walmart, should just invest in a 55gal drum though, I go thru a ton of oil.


Which reminds me, I was gonna build a waste oil furnace this weekend.

Oil heaters are great i need one of those.
With all the oil i go through on my truck 10 qt an oil change i seem to build up a lot of oil.
Do you guys change your oil every 6000 miles or every 3000? i've been doing about 4500 miles on mine.

I wait till 5k and then the next time i have a chance i will do it. So basically 5-6k for me. Gone 7k a couple times.
