Default Electric radiator fan dying - some questions

While changing the oil on my girlfriend's '01 225q, I heard what sounds like a bearing is going out on the driver's side fan[:@] After doing extensive searching, I still have a couple questions:

1. Do I need to replace the fan assembly, motor, or both? I'm assuming the fan assembly from ECS doesn't come with the motor, but I can't tell for sure.

2. Since I'm assuming I will need to pull the bumper, radiator assembly, etc, is there are tutorial around for this?

Thanks for any help you can provide, I really appreciate it

Default RE: Electric radiator fan dying - some questions

So I managed to answer question #2, guess I didn't search hard enough! For anyone with a similar issue, check out this link for everything you need to know.

As far as #1, does anyone know how to determine which 345mm fan is needed for my application without pulling the fan assembly out? Since this is a daily driver, it would be a huge pain to pull everything out to get the part number, put it all back together, order it, then take everything apart again once the new fan gets here.
