Default Electric Window problem

You know how the windows drop whenyou open the door and raise when you close? Well mine don't!

Electric windows seem to function ok otherwise...
... Has any one any suggestions how to fix this?

Thanks in anticipation.

Honestly, I think there's this little **** basturd under my dash f-ing with my windows becuz he got his *** handed to him in WW2! [>:]

Since I've bought my car - they have never worked properly! On top of that, it seems they are on a rotational malfunction schedule.

Pass window doesn't work - everything else does.
Now both windows work - but auto up and down down on the Driver side doesn't.
Now Driver's works fine - auto stopped on Pass side.

Currently driver's side window doesn't work at all - no auto functions on the passeneger side either - but in a week or so that will change... grrrr [:@]

When I bought my TT the driver's side window didn't drop and the passenger's side window would stay down as well as the dash display would indicate the passenger's door was open when it was actually shut. Two new door handles later under warranty and the problem was solved. Now that the lil' bugger is out from under warranty this kind of thing is my deepest dread. I'm afraid this car is gonna nickel and dime me to death.

The TT has to have some of the worst wiring of any car i've ever worked on.

The windows are down right weird. I always wonder when i'm going throug the drive through if i'll be able to keep the window down long enough to get my food. it like it's roll it's self up on random.

Try reprogramming the window functions, ie. hold window button down until the window is all the way down, hold window switch up until window is all the way up, release the switch then pull the switch up again for a few seconds and release.

This sequence should reprogram the auto window functions.

My windows act up now and then... my Auto-up stopped working for about a week... then when it started working again, it would go up and then right back down. It's annoying when I roll the window up and it decides to go back down once it hits the half way point. grr
