electrically operated glass wind deflector

Default electrically operated glass wind deflector

just bought a 2001 audi tt roadster,when roof is down i can't get electrically operated glass wind deflector to come up straight,just wondering if anybody had this problem,or if anybody knows how to fix,or should i take it to dealer.

also have that issue, it went up once then down, clicking noises, theres a belt in there that could be an issue

yes there is a gear and a belt, dealer messed ours up when they replaced headlight control module, then had to go back and fix it.

Behind the passenger seat behind all the plastic, is a computer for that. If there is any moisture from the top, it gets on the computer. Take it out, confirm its not wet, if it is, put it in a bag of rice for a day and then reinstall. I had this issue, and this fixed it immediately. More than likely, the clicking you are hearing are the relays on this computer, at least that's what mine was doing. Good luck !
