Default engine light code p0411

did some research on it only came up with cars other than the tt. car is throwing the p0411 secondary injection incorrect upflow stream. so far i have either read that it is a relay or the tubing down near the front of the engine. i erased the code after i took the reading. only been 1 day hasnt come back up yet. what should i look into?

thanks

I'm fighting with the same issue now: p0411. Could be faulty SAI pump, or kombi valve or faulty solenoid (N112)...or maybe a hose or maybe O2.

My pump is ok after repair (no longer sounds like turbine car) and we're leaning towards the kombi or n112. Problem is, both are not cheap parts so am a little hesitant to throw money at it. Continuing to diagnose.

If you solve yours soon, let me know.

cheers.

Mine was gone, then returned, then reset, and still off...(50 miles or so). returned last time after about 50-100 miles or a half dozen start-ups...we'll see.

wish me luck.

that happened to me, CEL came up and took it to auto zone for the code, and its p0411. then after getting gas, it desappeared. after 100 miles of driving, it came back so i decided to check the pump. i saw that the rivets are coming off. the sooner you do the pump, the cheaper it would be. dont wait till your pump gives out before you do this. pump are expensive ( i was quoted $600 for the pump and labor ). anyways, here is my post on vwvortex. http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...some-questions.

Did the repair twice in the past 2 weeks....first time the screws were not tightened equally around the pump. Throwing p0411 after repairs. Though, check engine is off now but am expecting it to return any time.
