Hey CincyTT, is really necessary to come off that harsh? I can imagine being in this guys shoes and not knowing what's wring with my car. It can be really frustrating.

 

Not trying to be harsh. A shop has no ideas what is wrong and picking the most costly solutions with absolutely nothing to back it up. Not sure how you would feel to pay $700-800 for a new turbo then another $1k for labor and still have the same issues when all that was needed was a loose clamp or broke vac line. A simple $30 boost gauge would of gave them both a lead to where to begin searching.
