Default Evoheatshield Phenolic Spacer?

Does anyone have any experience (or opinions) with this?

Just wondering if it would be beneficial. Thanks.

Not much, you may get a degree or two of timing back that a heatsoaked intercooler would rob.

I have one, it will show good gains with a FMIC and stuff like water injection. I think that for the little amount of money that it is, its worth it. But that is just my 0.02.

i'll be ordering one here for the summer Also a handy tool for tuners is a infrared Thermometer from radioshack 49.99 part number is 220.0325 reads temps 0-400 degrees F i noticed a pretty big difference in the readings on the intake manifold after installing my APR FMIC also 225tt did you have to dremel to make the gasket fit? i would hate to get shavings into the valve train....even with plugging the ports and then using a vaccum to suck up the shavings lol

Yep, used the dremmel to match it all up. I did end up sticking some stuff (paper towels and clean rags) into the intake ports then gave it a good shot with the air compressor to make sure everything was cleaned out. Let me know how yours turns out.
