Default Failed console cluster

Hi guys I'm new here
I've just bought my first TT, its a 2000 180hp Quattro 60,000kms. So far I love it, and I got it for a great price. under $10000. that being said its not perfect. The cluster doesn't fully function. My understanding is that this is a common problem with this year. So what works is the temp gauge the fuel gauge and the speedometer, The tach and the center screen with the diagnostics doesn't work and it constantly shows an oil can warning. Though I know the oil pressure is fine I have had the car checked by a Audi dealership and its fine, its just the console. I was just wondering what my best options here are, I don't want to pay the dealership $2300 to get it fixed with a new part. I have seen remans

online for decent price but I don't want to be with out my car for a long period of time. Can anyone offer advice from experience, anything would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance

Audi of America you will get no where with the dealership unless you bought the car brand new from them
