Default Fixing deep scratches

When i got my TT i noticed that someone had "tried" jacking up the car with the emergency jack and placed it on the lower side panel of the car and of course it dug a nice 2in long mark into the car. Whats a good way to fix deep marks like that on a car... i know there will be some filler envolved but i just wanted to get a good idea of some products to use and how i should go about painting it.

You are pretty much going to have to clean up what you can and then bondo and use some touch up on it, otherwise you are going to have to spray the whole skirt which is going to time and more money to make it match the rest of the car. The touch up should be small enough and far enough under the car it shouldnt be noticable to anyone unless they are laying on the ground

Even a full respray of the rocker shouldn't be too obvious. You can get away with more since its so close to the ground, and you're dealing with a lot of shadows and reflections.

Back home theres a guy who does some body work stuff on the side, he's remarkably good, and cheap. Friend showed up at the house in her brand new Cobalt SS (not supercharged... lame..) and the dog decided she wanted to make it the first car she jumped up on. Put some nice scratches down the hood of this black car. The body work guy did a scuff and buff on it, but couldn't get it perfect.. you almost can't tell it was scratched though, but wouldn't charge her for it. He didn't consider it fixed.

Look/ask around for one of those guys. If he had charged her, it would have been about $35. You'll probably need painting, but you don't find deals any better than that.
