Default FMIC Questions

I want to do a fmic install but have a few questions: ( Im a noob to some of this stuff and am curious thanks ahead)

1) I have the 2001 225 6spd coupe quattro

2) IS it possible to add a fmic with the existionf 2 factory smic's like can i custom add a fmic between the two smic's

3) If i do the above will i just lose too much boost thre w the ic's

4) Will removing the factory smic's and adding just a fmic be better

5) What are pros and cons of a fmic vs the two factory smic's

Adding in a fmic to the smic's would kill flow and be very very bad. A properly sized fmic would outperform the smics and flow way better.

Nate won't kill you for that, he was gonna assemble eBay kits himself lol

I'd say TCarbon is your best bet.

I think I remember reading (I think cincy said it) that on the 180 that it has more piping which causes more lag. Dunno if that applies to the 225.

Nevermind about the lag thing. It was because of bad DV orientation...

I had problems with everything on the 180 kit. Plus the ic is only big enough for stock turbos since its on par with ebay cores. Oh, i i have no intentions on using ebay crap with my setups

The tCarbon?

The core always looked bigger than stuff like TunerStop to me.
