Foam in my air vents

the foam is used to seal the air ducts together. it is common, and holds air in well, it also keeps them from rattling

I guess a description would have been helpful. I assumed everyone had it and was just joking about starting that thread. It is really thin brown foam. For the last three months I have been finding it randomly on my seats and wondered - WTF. I logged in to ask about sealant adhesive prepping for my Telson spoiler trimbut got off track.
