Does anyone know if there are factory fog lamp kits for the 1st gen TTs? I noticed that the headlamp switch pulls out for the fog lamp setting, but my Audi dealer said that there are no kits available for it. Is this a Euro market option only and if so, does anyone know how to get a hold of them?

 

your factory fog lights ar ebuilt into your head lights... when you pull out the switch they should come on... they are located closest to your grill in the head lamp.

 

Why are mine on all the time? I can't turn them off. When I turn on the headlamps they come on regardless.

 

There's a way where you can actually turn on the foglight, without turning the headlights on. I found a link on this forum that shows you how to do it. Basically you have to pull the switch assembly out and sodder a pin down. I did it to my TT and its AWSOME.

 

I found out why my foglamps were on all the time when my headlamps are on. The stupid switch is broken. Found this out on the TT Owner's Club forum. I popped the switch out of the dash and the darn thing wasn't pushed together all the way. I snapped it together and then my foglamps were off unless I turned them on with the headlamps. Nice... saved myself $171.50. I still love this lil' beastie even if it is gonna nickel and dime me to death!
