Hi guys i live in chicago where the winter is harsh and this winter was even worst since my 2000 TT 1.8 was fogged out most of the time even with the heater at full blast.... side windows included, windshield had only like a 12 inch radius clear of fogg. ( right where the hot air hits the glass, everywhere else fogged out.) BADDDD
I was told that it might be coolant leak
if it is, it might be a very small one because the coolant level is pretty the same.
any ideas of what can it be and how to fix it???

Its your ac that needs to be fixed to remove moisture.

 

I don't think coolant has anything to do with it. If there is moisture in the cabin, your windows will fog up. As jakej said, the A/C needs to be on to remove the moisture.
